As Managing Director of John Scott Meat, Hazel is responsible for overseeing all the day-to-day aspects of running the business. That includes everything from stock intake to product distribution, a food chain process she’s been deeply involved with since joining the family business in 1978.
Hazel enjoys maintaining a close contact with the company’s customers, many of whom she speaks to on a regular basis.
Other key duties include managing the staff, keeping pace with the industry’s mountain of rules and regulations and overseeing the company’s accounting and administration requirements.
Business development is another high priority part of Hazel’s working week.
